The Byron Union School District now offers onsite before and after school care for school age children. This program is called The Academy. We are open from 6:30am to 8:30am and from after school until 6:30pm each school day. We are also open during school breaks and staff development days. Also, the Discovery Play School, at both Discovery Bay Elementary School and Timber Point Elementary School offers both prekindergarten and preschool programs for children from age 2 through entry into Kindergarten. Our district looks forward to establishing an exemplary model for how districts can create their own preschool programs.
